We are a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to teaching boys and girls the sport of lacrosse. We facilitate opportunities for them to participate in local sporting events, competitions and programs that are positive and developmental.

Hamilton Wenham Boys Youth Lacrosse Parents:

Fall is the time of year to play football and soccer.  But it is also the time when we begin to prepare for next spring’s youth lacrosse programs.  Registration for Hamilton Wenham Boys Youth Lacrosse’s spring 2016 program opened on October 1st and will remain open until November 30, 2015.  Though it seems early, we need to have an accurate player count by December in order to register the appropriate number of teams at each level.  Therefore, we would ask you to take a few minutes now if you plan to register your son for next spring’s lacrosse season.

This past spring, we had another very successful season for more than 200 boys, ages 5-15.  We fielded seven MBYLL teams, two MBYLL “select teams” and over 60 boys in the intramural program.  We continue to benefit from a number of very dedicated and qualified coaches who are a major key to our success.  For the upcoming 2016 season, MBYLL (our league) intends to formalize the “select” program for town players in an effort to offer a highly competitive but more local alternative.

Registration will again be handled on line at www.hwlax.org.  Registration fees have increased $10/player this year as we begin to honor our three year commitment to help pay for the recent purchase of Donovan Field.  Note that when you register for H/W Lax you will also update your US Lacrosse membership.  US Lacrosse provides insurance to youth lacrosse programs, among other benefits.

As always, we welcome new players at all levels.  We hope you will help us spread the word about lacrosse in the two towns.  Should you or anyone you know have questions, please feel free to contact me at or any of the other board members whose contact information can be found on the website.

Thanks and enjoy the fall.
